Rise to the Yellow Belly Fish - Thuringia-li Thagaay (Light Pink)

This artwork explains the power of totems. We care for our totems as our totems care for us, having reciprocated responsibility. Through the trials and tribulations of life, the one constant has been the yellow belly fish. Starting with a divided family life in a town that does not welcome those who are different, to a marriage plagued with oppression and violence, their totem has guided them and reminds them of their integrity, warmth and resilience. They blossom, taking learnings from every misfortunate encounter, sharing their warmth with everyone who crosses their path, subsequently resulting in a happy and fulfilled life surrounded by love.
